Multi-skilled individual with a passion for community development. Studied Engineering Metallurgy at Tshwane University of Technology and currently about to complete Mining Engineering through the University of South Africa. Holds certificates in various fields including Cooperative development, Mentoring and coaching, Generic Management, Office admin and HIV counselling and testing.
Throughout his high school journey, Kgaogelo was part of the school's safety ambassador (an initiative of NICRO) where he was selected for a leadership position of being a secretary (2001 - 2003). He was also part of the role model intervention programme that ran every Saturday from grade 10 - 12 (2001 - 2003) also during that period, he was part of the UP with science programme (scholarship from University of Pretoria).
In 2011 he joined a programme ran by the Gauteng department of education called the extra-school support programme where he was a homework supervisor for primary school learners at the same time volunteering as an admin assistant at the school he was placed, due to passion, dedication and hardwork, he became a general supervisor until leaving the department in 2014 to become a community health worker under a project hosted by the City of Tshwane called Ward Based Outreach Team. Along this period (2012 - 2015) Kgaogelo became a volunteer robotics facilitator at UNISA under a project ran by the College of Science Engineering and Technology-Community Engagement programme called I-SET, and a tutor at IkamvaYouth Mamelodi (2014 - 2016).
